OBITUARY <!--[if gte mso 10]> OBITUARY MIAN BASHIR AHMAD PASSES AWAY! With an extremely aggrieved and heavy heart, the PLD Publishers convey the sad news that Mian Bashir Ahmed, one of the senior and noblest members of the Panel of Editors of PLD passed away on 30th September, 2009. He was associated with the PLD since three decades. The void which his sorrowful demise has created will be hard to fill in the foreseeable times as people of his ilk are hard to come by. Mian Sahib was a man of high principles and believed in dignity of hard work and dedication. Undoubtedly, he was a gem and source of inspiration for his colleagues, and juniors and was a valuable asset to the organization. His devotion for work was exemplary, he was at his working desk till the end, he laid down his head on his work and quietly breathed his last, working for PLD. Indeed, PLD Publishers has lost one of its devoted Associates. May Allah rest his soul in peace, Aameen!
