Started legal practice as a Pleader in the year 1979 Enrolled as an Advocate of the High Court on 4-8-1982 and as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on 31-5-1984 Elected as Member of District Council in 1983 Elected as President and General Secretary of Central Bar Association Muzaffarabad Also elected as President Supreme Court Bar Association Appointed first Chief Prosecutor Ehtesab Bureau in September 2000 Remained consecutively three times elected Member of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bar Council and also elected as Vice Chairman AJK Bar Council in the year 2009. Appointed as Advocate= General of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in December, 2009 and remained so till April, 2010. Elevated as Ad hoc Judge of the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on 2nd April, 2010 and remained so till 15-12-2011. Permanently elevated as Judge of the Supreme Court on 16-12-2011
