After having Bachelor of Law from the University Law College Lahore, he joined the Chamber of Kh. Sultan Ahmed, Advocate. Started practice as an Advocate on 25-10-1989. enrolled as an Advocate High Court on 11-11-1991 and as an Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan on 19-6-2004. Elected as Member of Executive Committee Lahore High Court Bar Association in the year 1993-94 and remained part time Lecturer in ALMEZAN Law College Rawalpindi . Worked as Special Public Prosecutor for Government of Punjab and Counsel of Lahore Development Authority Also remained as retainer Habib Bank Private Limited and State Counsel His lordship also remained on the panel of the Counsel of O.G.D.C, Agriculture Development Bank and Pakistan International Airline (PIA). Appointed as Assistant Advocate-General Punjab on 3-4-1995 Appointed as Special Prosecutor Anti Narcotics Force on 1-2-2010 and Additional Advocate General Punjab on 6-4-2010 (not joined as already assumed the office of the Chairman Ehtesab Bureau). Appointed as Chairman Ehtesab Bureau of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on 16-3-2010 Elevated as Judge Islamabad High Court on 15-2-2008 and confirmed as Judge Islamabad High Court on 15-2-2009 and as Judge Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on 16-12-2011.
