MR MR. JUSTICE SYED MANSOOR ALI SHAH, JUDGE, SUPREME COURT OF PAKISTAN Mr. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was elevated as a Judge of the Lahore High Court in 2009 and served as the Chief Justice of the Court from June, 2016 to February, 2018. He authored several judgments on constitutional law, human rights, administrative law, climate justice and environmental sustainability. He took keen interest in judicial and administrative reforms and spearheaded Alternate Dispute Resolution Centers (ADR), Criminal and Civil Model Courts, case management and court automation systems at the Lahore High Court and in the District Judiciary in Punjab. He helped re-engineer Punjab Judicial Academy in order to improve judicial training and capacity building for the judiciary and the ministerial staff. He lays special emphasis on research and played a foundational role in setting up the Lahore High Court Research Centre (LHCRC). Justice Shah has a Masters in Law from University of Cambridge, UK and a Master in Economics from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. He is an accredited mediater from CEDR, London. He was elevated as Judge, Supreme Court of Pakistan on 7th February, 2018.
