MR MR. JUSTICE MUHAMMAD QASIM KHAN, CHIEF JUSTICE LAHORE HIGH COURT Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan was born on 6th of July, 1959 in a noble family of Multan. He received his matriculation certificate from the famous educational institution the "Comprehensive School", in Multan and subsequently graduated from Baha-ud-Din Zakariya University, Multan and obtained his LL.B degree through Gillani Law College, Multan. After completion of studies, he started practising law in the Courts at Multan and joined the Chamber of renowned lawyers, Kanwar Akhtar Ali and Ch. Faqir Muhammad. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan, due to his meritorious achievements in the field of law, was appointed as Assistant Advocate General, Multan in the year 2000 and worked as such till June, 2009. While discharging this role, Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan successfully represented the Provincial Government Departments in innumerable important cases. Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan was elevated to the High Court in January 2010 and during his tenure as a Judge rendered remarkable judgments on a number of important issues, a number of which have been reported in various law journals. Mr. Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan also remained the Administrative Judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts as well as Customs Courts. He was elevated as the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court on the 19th of March 2020.
