Languidus

n. [Law Latin "sick"] Hist. At common law, a return of process made by the sheriff when a defendant whom the sheriff had taken into custody was too sick to be removed.

cepi corpus et est languidus

I have arrested the defendant and he is sick. ( This notation in a sheriff's return indicated that the defendant was too sick to be moved safely from the place of arrest.

duces tecum licet languidus
