Misuse
n. 1. Products liability. A defense alleging that the plaintiff used the product in an improper, unintended, or unforeseeable manner. 2. Patents. The use of a patent either to improperly extend the granted monopoly to nonpatented goods or to violate antitrust laws.
Misuser
An abuse of a right or office, as a result of which the person having the right might lose it <it is an act of misuser to accept a bribe>. Cf. USER.
