borrowing statute
A legislative exception to the conflict-of-laws rule holding that a forum state must apply its own statute of limitations. A borrowing statute specifies the circumstances in which a forum state will apply another state's statute of limitations.
following-form policy
An insurance policy that adopts the terms and conditions of another insurance policy.

growing crops
Crops that are in the process of growth. & Judicial decisions vary on the growth stage at which a crop becomes a growing crop and on whether pasturage grass is a growing crop. Growing crops are goods under UCC ยง 2-105(1). Cf. FARM PRODUCT.
growing-equity mortgage
