Prospective

prospective damages

Future damages that, based on the facts pleaded and proved by the plaintiff, can reasonably be expected to occur.

prospective heir

prospective waiver

A waiver of something that has not yet occurred, such as a contractual waiver of future claims for discrimination upon settlement of a lawsuit. 2. The instrument by which a person relinquishes or abandons a legal right or advantage <the plaintiff must sign a waiver when the funds are delivered>.

tortious interference with prospective advantage

An intentional, damaging intrusion on another's potential business relationship, such as the opportunity of obtaining customers or employment. - Also termed interference with a business relationship.
