Even if alienation is prohibited, it may yet take place by the consent of all in whose favor it is prohibited; it is in the power of anyone to renounce a right introduced for his own benefit.
Quorum
n. The minimum number of members (usu. a majority) who must be present for a body to transact business or take a vote. Pl. quorums.
Quorum praetextu nec auget nec minuit sententiam, sed tantum confirmat praemissa
"Quorum praetextu" neither increases nor diminishes the meaning, but only confirms what went before.
