n. 1. A reexamination or careful re view for correction or improvement. 2. Militar law. The reconvening of a general or specia court-martial to revise its action or to correc the record because of an improper or inconsis tent action concerning the findings or the sen tence. ( A revision can occur only if it will not materially prejudice the accused.
