Seabed
The sea floor; the ground underlying the ocean, over which nations may assert sovereignty, esp. if underlying their territorial waters.
international seabed
The seabed and ocean floor, as well as the subsoil, lying beyond the territorial limits of nations. - Also termed international seabed area. International Trade Court. See COURT OF IN. TERNATIONAL TRADE.
