Sherman Antitrust Act

A federal statute, passed in 1890, that prohibits direct or indirect interference with the freely competitive interstate production and distribution of goods. ( This Act was amended by the Clayton Act in 1914. 15 USCA ยงยง 1-7. - Often shortened to Sherman Act.
