Rebutter
1. Common-law pleading. The defendant's answer to a plaintiff's surrejoinder; the pleading that followed the rejoinder and surrejoinder, and that might in turn be answered by the surrebutter. 2. One who rebuts.
Utter
adj. Complete; absolute; total <an utter denial>.
Uttering
The crime of presenting a false or worthless instrument with the intent to harm or defraud. - Also termed uttering a forged instrument. See FORGERY. uxor (ak-sor). [Latin] Wife. Abbr. ux. See ET UX.
abutter
land; one whose property abuts another's. The major right of [an abutter] is that of access to his property -a right of reasonable ingress and egress. He is entitled to Compensation for any substantial impairment of this reasonable access. The right normally includes the right to have, at some point, a driveway onto his premises. An abutter does not have the right to the continued flow of traffic in the same amount or pattern past his premises." Osborne M. excited utterance
A statement about a startling event made under the stress and excitement of the event. ( An excited utterance may be admissible as a hearsay exception. Fed. R. Evid. 803(2). Cf. PRESENT SENSE IMPRESSION.

Common-law pleading. The plaintiff's answer of fact tG the defendant's rebutter.
