ad quem
ado. [latin] to whom. this term is used as a correlative to a quo in computation of time or distance. for example, the terminus a quo is the point of beginning or departure; the terminus ad quem is the end of the period or point of arrival.
dies ad quem
n. [Latin "the day to which"] Civil law. An ending date for a transaction; the ending date for computing time, such as the day on which interest no longer accrues.
judex ad quem
Civil law. A judge to whom an appeal is taken.
