Comity Clause
The clause of the U.S. Constitution giving citizens of one state the right to all privileges and immunities enjoyed by citizens of the other states. U.S. Const. art. N, ยง 2, cl. 1. See PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES CLAUSE.
MeNary comity
The principle that a U.S. district court should not hear a taxpayer's civilrights challenge to the administration of a state's tax system. Fair Assessment in Real Estate Assn v. McNary, 454 U.S. 100, 102 S.Ct. 177 (1981).
comity
