adj. Operating or serving to annul, dissolve, or terminate <a resolutory clause>.
resolutory condition
Civil law. A condition that upon fulfillment terminates an already enforceable obligation and entitles the parties to be restored to their original positions. - Also termed resolutive condition; dissolving condition. Cf potestative condition.
