ORDINANCE I OF 1997 ORDINANCE I OF 1997 BALOCHISTAN IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE AUTHORITY ORDINANCE, 1997 CHAPTER II CONSTITUTION OF THE AUTHORITY 3. Establishment of the Authority.‑‑(l) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Ordinance Government shall establish an Authority to be known as the Balochistan Irrigation and Drainage Authority. (2) The Authority shall be a body corporate, to acquire, hold and dispose of property, having perpetual succession and a common seal with powers subject to the provision of this Ordinance and shall by the said name, sue and be sued. (3) The headquarters of the Authority shall be at Quetta.
