ORDINANCE I OF 1997 ORDINANCE I OF 1997 BALOCHISTAN IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE AUTHORITY ORDINANCE, 1997 CHAPTER II CONSTITUTION OF THE AUTHORITY 6. Removal of members of the Authority.‑‑The Government may by notification remove any member of the Authority except the ex‑officio members,' in case such member‑‑ (a) is incapable discharging his responsibilities under this Ordinance; or (b) has been declared insolvent; or (c) has been declared to be disqualified for employment, or has been dismissed from the service of the Government, or has been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude; or (d) has knowingly acquired or has continued to hold without the permission, in writing, of the Government, directly or indirectly or through a partner, any share or interest in any, contract or employment with or on behalf of the Authority or in any land or property which, to his knowledge, is likely to be benefit or has benefited as a result of the operations of the Authority; or (e) is under the age of twenty‑one years; or ' A'" (f) is not citizen of Pakistan: Provided that where action is proposed to be taken by the Government under (a) or (b) above, the concerned member of the Authority shall be duly notified of the case against him and shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to show cause.
