Acquisition of land by the Authority.‑‑Acquisition of any land or any interest in land by the Authority for the purposes of or section, or for any scheme under this Ordinance shall be deemed to be any acquisition for a public purposes within the scope and meaning of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894: Provided that the Authority, prior to approaching the Government for any proposed acquisition of land or any interest therein shall, in consultation with the likely affectees, prepare a resettlement plan which shall be duly approved by its Authority.
