ACT IV OF 1994 ACT IV OF 1994 BALOCHISTAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1994 An Act to establish a University of Engineering and Technology at Khuzdar [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 3rd August, 1994] No. PAB/LEGIS.V(9)/94, dated 3‑8‑1994.‑‑‑TheBalochistan University of Engineering and Technology Bill, 1994 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 6th July, 1994 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as an Act 'of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble. ‑‑‑Whereas it is necessary to undertake research and development in the country and produce high quality engineers and technologists to form an organized scientific infrastructure for research in engineering and development of technologies; Whereas it is imperative to achieve excellence in the advancement of knowledge in the field of engineering and to develop capability in high quality teaching, research and ' development for improving the existing industrial and technological base of the country; It is hereby enacted as follows:‑‑
