ACT IV OF 1994 ACT IV OF 1994 BALOCHISTAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1994 CHAPTER V OFFICERS, TEACHERS AND OTHER EMPLOYEES OF THE UNIVERSITY 33. Opportunity to show cause.‑‑No Officer, teacher or other employee of the University holding a permanent post shall be reduced in rank, or removed or compulsorily retired from service unless he has been given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against such action: Provided that nothing in this section shall apply to a case where any such Officer, teacher or other employee is convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude or where, in the opinion of the competent authority, it is not reasonably practicable to give him such an opportunity of showing cause.
