ACT IV OF 1994 ACT IV OF 1994 BALOCHISTAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1994 CHAPTER VI UNIVERSITY FUND 38. Audit and Accounts.‑‑(1) The accounts of the University shall be maintained in such form and in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) No expenditure shall be made from the funds or the University unless‑‑ (a) the expenditure is included in the approved budget of the University; and (b) bill for its payment has been audited in conformity with, the Statutes, the Regulations and the Rules by the Resident Auditor. (3) The accounts of the University shall, in the prescribed manner, be audited once a year by the Auditor appointed by Government in this behalf. (4) The annual statement of accounts of the University signed by the Treasurer and the Resident Auditor shall be submitted to Government within six months of the closing of the financial year. (5) The accounts of the University together with audit objection, if any, and the observations of the auditor appointed by Government and the Treasurer shall, in the prescribed manner, be presented to the Syndicate which may pass such order as it may deem fit.
