ORDINANCE LXXXI OF 1996 ORDINANCE LXXXI OF 1996 AWAMI HAJJ TRUST ORDINANCE, 1996 An Ordinance to provide for the establishment of an Awami Hajj Trust [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part I, 12th August, 1996] No.F.2(1)/96/Pub., dated 12‑8‑1996.‑‑The following Ordinance made by the President is hereby published for general information:‑‑ Whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of an Awami Hajj Trust to mobilize savings from the pilgrims desirous of performing Hajj and investment thereof in the Islamic modes of investment and for facilitating Hajj operations and matters connected therewith and incidental thereto; And whereas the National Assembly is not in session and the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:‑‑
