Appointment of Registrar.‑‑(1) The Government shall appoint a person to be the Registrar of Village Organizations for the whole province or any part of ii and may appoint a person or persons to be Additional Registrar, Joint Registrar or Deputy Registrar by general or special order, confer on any such person all or any of the powers of Registrar, Additional Registrar, Joint Registrar or Deputy Registrar under this Ordinance. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in subsection (1) the Government may, instead of making appointments referred to in subsection (1), direct that all or any of the powers conferred and imposed upon the Registrar shall he exercised and performed by such officer or officers and within such local limits, as the Government appoints in this behalf.
