ACT VII OF 1976 ANTIQUITIES ACT, 1975 ACT VII OF 1976 ANTIQUITIES ACT, 1975 An Act to repeal and re‑enact the law relating to the preservation and protection of antiquities 32. Penalty.‑A contravention of any provision of this Act or the rules shall, where no punishment has been specifically provided, be punishable with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both.
