'BALUCHISTAN MEDICAL GRADUATES (COMPULSORY BALUCHISTAN MEDICAL GRADUATES (COMPULSORY SERVICE) RULES, 1975 [Gazette of Baluchistan, Extraordinary, 22nd August 1975] No. SOII (H) 1‑1/74‑10548.‑In exercise of the power conferred by ‑section 6 of the Medical Graduates (Compulsory Service) Act, 1974 (Act XX of 1974), the Government of Baluchistan is pleased to make the following Rules, namely :‑ 1. Short title, commencement and application.‑(i) These rules may be called the Baluchistan Medical Graduates (Compulsory Service) Rules, 1975. (ii) They shall come into force at once and shall apply to all Medical Graduates wherever they may be. 2. Definition.‑In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires :‑ (i) "Act" means the Baluchistan Medical Graduates (Compulsory Service) Act, 1974. (1l) "Government" means the Government of Baluchistan. (iii) "Medical Graduates" means as defined in the .Act. (iV) "Notice" means notice issued in pursuance of section 3 of ‑the Act. 3. Notice.‑A notice requisitioning the service of a Medical Graduate shall be in the form as in the schedule appended to these rules and shall be issued by Government. 4. Time limit.‑The person whose services are requisitioned under this Act shall report for duty to the Secretary Health Department within fifteen days of the service of the notice on him, .r failing which he shall be liable to ,prosecution under sections 4 and 5 of the Act. SCHEDULE NOTICE NOTICE FOR COMPULSORY SERVICE &UNDER THE BALUCHISTAN MEDICAL GRADUATES (COMPULSORY SERVICE) ACT, 1974 Whereas you graduated in the faculty of medicine and surgery/have acquired post‑graduate or higher degree in medicine or surgery/have studied in an institution, at the expense of the Government of Baluchistan against ,reserved seats of the former Quetta and Kalat Division after the 1st day of July 1970 and thug became liable to serve the Province of Baluchistan for at least 5 years; And whereas your services are required by the Government of Baluchis?tan under section 3 of the Medical Graduates (Compulsory Service) Act, 1974, you are hereby, called upon to report for duty to the Secretary to Government of Baluchistan, Health Department, within fifteen days of the receipt of this notice, failing which action will be taken against you under, sections 4 and 5 of the said Act.
