ORDINANCE II OF 1978 ORDINANCE II OF 1978 BALUCHISTAN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ORDINANCE, 1978 An Ordinance to repeal and, with certain modification re-enact the Baluchistan Public Service Commission Act, 1974 [Gazette of Baluchistan, Extraordinary, 1st February, 1978] No. Legis 1-21/Law/7.--The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Baluchistan on the 27th January, 1978 is hereby published for general information. 7. Functions of the Commission.--The functions of the Commission shall be - (a) to conduct tests and examinations for recruitment to the civil service of the Province of Baluchistan and such posts in connection with the affairs of the Province of Baluchistan as may be prescribed by rules made under section 10 ; and (b) to advise the Governor on matters relating to qualifications for, and methods of recruitment to the services and posts referred to in clause (a), and any other mattes which the Governor may refer to the Commission. Explanation.-In this section, "recruitment" means initial appointment otherwise than by promotion or transfer.
