Liquidation of the bank

Section Provisions

THE BANK OF PUNJAB ACT, 1989 THE BANK OF PUNJAB ACT, 1989 24. Liquidation of the Bank. Nothing in the Companies Ordinance, 1984, shall apply to the Bank and the Bank shall not be placed in liquidation. save by the order of the Government, and in such manner and under such terms an conditions, including the terms as to calls on the forfeiture of shares, as the Government may by its order of liquidation direct.
