THE ADMINISTRATOR GENERAL'S ACT, 1913 THE ADMINISTRATOR GENERAL'S ACT, 1913 ACT No. III OF 1913 [27th February, 1913] An Act to consolidate and amend the Law relating to the office and duties of Administrator General. WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the office and duties of Administrator General ; It is hereby enacted as follows :‑ PART VI MISCELLANEOUS 48. General powers of administration---The Administrator General may, in addition to, and not in derogation of, any other powers of expenditure lawfully exerciseable by him, incure expenditure ‑ (a) on such acts as may be necessary for the proper care and management of any property belonging to any estate in his .,charge ; and (b) with the sanction of the High Court (The words "at the Presidency‑town" rep. by A. O., 1937.)* * * on such religious, charitable and other objects, and on such improvements, as may be reasonable and proper in the case of such property.
