ORDINANCE V OF 2006 ORDINANCE V OF 2006 Balochistan Education Foundation (Amendment) Ordinance 2006 An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Education Foundation Act, 1994 [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 8th May, 2006] 5. Substitution of section 6 of Act. VII of 1994.--- In the said Act, for section 6, the following shall be substituted:-‑ "6. Duties and Functions of the Board --The affairs of the Foundation shall be managed by the Board in the following manner:-‑ (a) No act or proceeding of the Board shall be invalid by reasons only of a vacancy in, or any defect in the constitution of the Board. (b) A simple majority of the Board shall constitute the quorum of the Board. (c) The meeting of the Board shall be held at such time and place and in such manner as may be prescribed by the Board. (d) The Board may constitute such financial, technical and advisory committees as it may deem appropriate for carrying out the objectives of the foundation: (e) Meetings of the Board shall be presided over by the Chairman and, in his absence or unavailability by the Chief Secretary."
