ORDINANCE VII OF 2006 ORDINANCE VII OF 2006 BALOCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2006 An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001 [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 15th August, 2006] No.Legis.1-122/Law/2000-XIII, dated 15-8-2006.--The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 9th August, 2006, is hereby published for general information:-- Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001 (XVIII of 2001) for the purposes herein after appearing; And whereas the President of Pakistan has, in consultation with Prime Minister, accorded sanction to the said amendments in the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001, in terms of clause (2) of Article 268 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973; And whereas, the Provincial Assembly is not in session and the Governor is satisfied that the circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the Governor of the Province of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-- 2. Amendment of the First Schedule, Ordinance XVIII of 2001.---In the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001, in the First Schedule,-- (a) in Part-A, entry (xvi) shall be omitted; and (b) in Part-C, in entry (iv), the word and comma "Colleges," shall be omitted.
