ORDINANCE I OF 2010 ORDINANCE I OF 2010 BALOCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2010 An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance 2001 (XVIII of 2001) [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 6th April, 2010] No. Legis:1-122/Law/2000-XIV, dated 6-4-2010.----The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 6th April. 2010, is hereby published for general information; Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001 (XVIII of 2001). And whereas, the Provincial Assembly is not in sessions and the Governor is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by Article 128(1) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973 the Governor is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-- 1. Short title and commencement.---(1) This Ordinance may be called the Balochistan Local Government (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010. (2) It shall come into force at once.
