ORDINANCE II OF 2008 ORDINANCE II OF 2008 BALOCHISTAN EDUCATION FOUNDATION (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2008 An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Education Foundation Act, 1994 (VII 1994). [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary 1st July, 2008] No.Legis 1-93/Law/92/4383-85, dated 1-7-2008.---The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 28th May 2008, is hereby published for general information: Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Education Foundation Act, 1994, in the manner hereinafter appearing; And Whereas the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan is not in session and the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action. Now Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub Article (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-- 2. Amendment of section 2 of Act VII of 1994.---In the Balochistan Education Foundation Act, 1994, hereinafter referred to as the said Act, in section 2,--- (a) after clause (e), the following new clauses shall be added:-- (ee) "First Board" means the First Board of Directors of the Foundation constituted vide Notification No. SGB/4-16/2004/12394-1409, dated 1st September, 2004 under sub section (1) of section 5 of this Act. (b) After clause (m) the following new clause shall be added:-- (mm) "Private Sector Member", means a well reputed individual who represent diverse backgrounds including civil society members from NGOs and Community Based Organizations, academia, private sector Educationists, Professionals like lawyers, Engineers accountants, doctors;
