ACT VIII OF 2005 ACT VIII OF 2005 BALOCHISTAN RESIDENTIAL COLLEGES ACT 2005 An Act to provide for the establishment of the Residential Colleges in Balochistan. [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary 12th May, 2006] No.PAB/Legis;V(30)/2005, dated 12-5-2006.--The Balochistan Residential Colleges Bill, No. 7 of 2005 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 15th April, 2006 and assented to by the Governor of Balochisstan, is hereby published as an Act No.VIII of 2005 the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.--Whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of the Residential Colleges in Balochistan to promote education: It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 6. Members of the Board.---(1) The members of the Board shall consist of:-- (a) Secretary Education (b) Secretary Finance (c) Secretary S&GAD (d) Secretary Law (e) Additional Chief Secretary (Development) (f) Additional Secretary (Development) Education Department who shall be the member/Secretary of the Board. (g) Two members of the Provincial Assembly. (h) The Principals of the colleges shall be the honorary members of the Board. (2) The Government may increase or decrease the number of member of the Board from time to time as it may consider appropriate.
