ACT XV OF 2009 ACT XV OF 2009 BALOCHISTAN SPORTS BOARD ACT, 2009 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Sports Board in the Province of Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 3rd November, 2009] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2009.5043, dated 3-11-2009.---The Balochistan Sports Board Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 17th October, 2009 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 24th October, 2009 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient to establish a Sports Board in the Balochistan; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 3. The Board.---(1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, there shall be established a Board to be known as the Balochistan Sports Board. (2) The Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal, with powers, subject to this Act, to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and may by the said name sue and be sued. (3) The headquarter of the Board shall be at Quetta and the Directorate of Sports Balochistan shall provide secretariat facilities to the Board.
