ACT XV OF 2009 ACT XV OF 2009 BALOCHISTAN SPORTS BOARD ACT, 2009 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Sports Board in the Province of Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 3rd November, 2009] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2009.5043, dated 3-11-2009.---The Balochistan Sports Board Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 17th October, 2009 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 24th October, 2009 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient to establish a Sports Board in the Balochistan; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 8. Executive Committee.---(1) Government may, by a notification in the Official Gazette, constitute an Executive Committee of the Board, consisting of--- (a) The Secretary Sports Department Government of Balochistan Chairman (b) A representative of Finance Department, Government of Balochistan Members (c) A representative from Women Sports Association Member (d) The Director Sports Balochistan Member (2) Three members of the Executive Committee, including the Presiding Officer shall constitute a quorum for a meeting. (3) The Chairman shall call meeting of the Executive Committee, as and when required and shall preside over the meeting. (4) All the decisions of the Executive Committee shall be taken by majority of votes, in case of equality of votes, the Chairman shall have a casting vote.
