ACT XV OF 2009 ACT XV OF 2009 BALOCHISTAN SPORTS BOARD ACT, 2009 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Sports Board in the Province of Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 3rd November, 2009] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2009.5043, dated 3-11-2009.---The Balochistan Sports Board Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 17th October, 2009 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 24th October, 2009 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient to establish a Sports Board in the Balochistan; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 9. Power of the Executive Committee.---(1) The Executive Committee shall be competent to deal with any matter within the competence of the Board, including the following: (a) to recommend the affiliation/registration of the games and associations to the Board; (b) to ensure that the managing body of each of the Provincial Games and sports associations functions in the best interest of that games and in conformity with its constitution and bye-laws; and (c) to allocate funds, grants in-aid and subsidies to the games and Associations registered with the Board to sportsmen and to sanction expenditure for sports activities, schemes or sports events of special nature. (2) After approval of the budget by the Board, the Executive Committee shall be competent to re-appropriate a budgetary allocation.
