ACT XV OF 2009 ACT XV OF 2009 BALOCHISTAN SPORTS BOARD ACT, 2009 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Sports Board in the Province of Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 3rd November, 2009] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2009.5043, dated 3-11-2009.---The Balochistan Sports Board Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 17th October, 2009 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 24th October, 2009 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient to establish a Sports Board in the Balochistan; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 27. Budget and expenditure.---(1) Secretary of the Board shall prepare the annual budget for the utilization of the funds to be approved by the Board in its meeting. (2) The Board shall have full powers to incur expenditure. (3) The Executive Committee shall have full powers to incur expenditure within the approved budget. (4) The Chairman of the Board shall have such powers to sanction and incur expenditure as the Board may delegate to him with the prior approval of Government. (5) The sanction of various grants-in-aid accorded by the Chairman shall be placed before the Board in its next meeting for approval. (6) The Secretary of the Board shall have full powers to incur expenditure on the items approved in the budget of the Board. (7) The accounts of the Board shall be operated by the Secretary of the Board.
