ACT XV OF 2009 ACT XV OF 2009 BALOCHISTAN SPORTS BOARD ACT, 2009 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Sports Board in the Province of Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 3rd November, 2009] No. PAB/Legis: V(15)/2009.5043, dated 3-11-2009.---The Balochistan Sports Board Bill, 2009 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 17th October, 2009 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 24th October, 2009 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient to establish a Sports Board in the Balochistan; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 30. Power to make rules.--(1) Government may make rules to carry out the purpose of this Act. (2) The Board may, with the approval of Government, make regulation, not inconsistent with rules, to carry out the purpose of this Act. STATEMENT OF OBEJCTS AND REASONS There is no legislation for establishment of a Balochistan Sports Board as a result of which difficulty is being experienced in regulating and development of sports in Balochistan. It is felt expedient to establish a Sports Board in Balochistan. An effort has been made for originating a Act to provide for establishment of a Sports Board in the province of Balochistan in the ensuing session of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.
