ACT VI OF 2010 ACT VI OF 2010 BALOCHISTAN ANIMAL SLAUGHTER CONTROL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2010 An Act further to amend the West Pakistan Animal Slaughter Control Act, 1963 (West Pakistan Act No.111 of 1963) [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 20th May, 2010] No. PAB/Legis: V(6)/2010. 224, dated 20-5-2010. ---The Balochistan Animal Slaughter Control (Amendment) Bill, 2010 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 14th May, 2010 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 19th May, 2010 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the West Pakistan Animal Slaughter Control Act, 1963 (West Pakistan Act No.III of 1963), for the purposes hereinafter appearing. It is hereby enacted as follows: 2. Amendment of section 2 of W.P. Act III of 1963.---In the West Pakistan Animal Slaughter Control Act, 1963 (West Pakistan Act No.III of 1963), herein after referred as to the said Act, in section 2,--- (a) in clause (a) after the words "Sheep of any age" a comma and the words ", no less than six months and claves of Buffalo/Cattle not less than one year" shall be substituted; (b) in clause (d), for the words "West Pakistan" the word "Balochistan" shall be substituted; (c) in clause (k), after the word "Sheep" wherever it appears, the sign and word "/Goat" shall be inserted; and (d) in clause (1),-- (i) for the words "Veterinary Assistant Surgeon", the words "Veterinary Officer" shall be substituted. (ii) the words "or diploma", appeared after the word "degree" ' shall be omitted; and (iii) after the word "College", the sign and word "/University" shall be inserted.
