ACT X OF 2010 ACT X OF 2010 BALOCHISTAN CULTURE HERITAGE PRESERVATION ACT, 2010 An Act to make provision for preservation and protection of ancient places and objects of architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, ethnological, anthropological and national interest in the Province of Balochistan, [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 13th July, 2010] No.PAB/Legis:V(11)/2010, dated 5-7-2010.---The Balochistan Cultural Heritage Preservation Bill, 2010 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 1st July, 2010 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 5th July, 2010 is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---Whereas it is expedient to preserve and protect ancient places and object of architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, ethnological, anthropological, and national interest in the Province of Balochistan and for the matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: 1. Short title, extent and commencement.---(1) This Act may be called the Balochistan Cultural Heritage Preservation Act, 2010. (2) It extends to the whole of Balochistan except the Tribal Areas. (3) It shall come into force at once.
