ACT IV OF 2011 ACT IV OF 2011 BALOCHISTAN MINES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2011 An Act further to amend the Mines Act 1923 (Act No.IV of 1923) [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 20th May, 2011] No. PAB/Legis .V(04)/2011-1462, dated 20-5-2011. --The Balochistan Mines (Amendment) Bill No.4 of 2011, having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 7th May, 2011 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 18th May, 2011 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.--Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Mines Act, 1923 (Act No.IV of 1923) in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 5. Amendment of section 40, Act No.IV of 1923.---In the said Act, in section 40 in subsection (1); (a) for the words "which may extend to four thousand rupees" the words "not less than forty thousand rupees", (b) for the words "which may extend to two thousand rupees" the words "not less than twenty thousand rupees", and (c) for the words "which may extend to one thousand rupees" the words "not less than ten thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
