BALOCHISTAN HEALTH DEPARTMENT (BASIC BALOCHISTAN HEALTH DEPARTMENT (BASIC PAY SCALE 16 AND ABOVE) SERVICE RULES, 1984 (Substitution of Serial No.21 in the appendix under heading B-18) [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 17th August, 2012] No.S.O.(R-II)(8)12/2012-S&GAD/1465-1500, dated 17-8-2012.---In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Balochistan Civil Servants Act, 1974 (Act No.IX of 1974), the Government of Balochistan is pleased to make the following amendments in the Balochistan Health Department (Basic Pay Scale-16 and above) Service Rules, 1984, namely:-- In the aforesaid rules, in appendix under heading B-18, for Serial No.21, the following shall be substituted, namely:-- 21 Optometrist (BPS-18) (a) B.Sc. (Hon:) Vision Sciences (Optometry) or B.Sc. in Optometry and Ophthalmic Technology from a recognized University. (b) three years' post-qualification work experience in the relevant field; and (c) Post Graduation in Optometry will be preferred. By initial recruitment.
