ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR PAKISTAN (TERMS ATTORNEY-GENERAL FOR PAKISTAN (TERMS AND CONDITONS) RULES, 2011 (Substitution of R.2) [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part II, 22nd January, 2013] S.R.O.31(I)/2013, dated 16-1-2013.---In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 100 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to direct that in the Attorney-General for Pakistan (Terms and Conditions) Rules, 2011, the following further amendment shall be made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 1st day of January, 2013, namely:-- In the aforesaid Rules, for rule 2, the following shall be substituted, namely:-- "2. Retainership, perks and privileges, etc.---The Attorney-General for Pakistan shall be entitled to retainership, perks and privileges as admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court which are as follows:-- (i) Salary Rs.423,414 (ii) Superior Judicial Allowance (Tax Free) Rs.196,219 (iii) Medical Allowance Rs.15% of the salary (iv) Accommodation Rent free residence maintained by Government with provision of electricity, gas and water OR Tax free house rent allowance Rs.68,000 p.m. (if official residence is not provided with provision of utilities on actual basis and residence to be maintained at Government expenses. (v) Transport As admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court. (vi) TA/DA As admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court. (vii) Medical re-imbursement As admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court. (viii) Telephone (Off/Res.) As admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court. (ix) Leave As admissible to a Judge of Supreme Court.
