[Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 28th March, 2014] CHAPTER III PRELIMINARY PROTECTION OF WILD ANIMALS 14. Killing in Defence.---(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act, it shall not be an offence if any person kills a leopard, wolf, Balochistan bear, Himalayan black bear, Marsh crocodile or shark in the immediate defense of his own life or that of any other person. (2) The killing of a wild animal under the provisions of sub- section (1) above shall be reported to the nearest office of the Department without unreasonable delay. (3) The meat or trophy of any wild animal killed under sub- section (1) above shall be the property of Government and shall be disposed of as directed by the officer authorized in this behalf.
