ACT XIV OF 2014 ACT XIV OF 2014 BALOCHISTAN WILDLIFE (PROTECTION, PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT) ACT, 2014 An Act to provide protection, preservation, conservation, sustainable and management to the Wildlife, and establishment and management of protection areas in the Province of Balochistan. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 28th March, 2014] CHAPTER VII PROTECTED AREAS 51. Conservation of Habitats in the Outer Countryside.---The Government shall endeavor to conserve the habitats of resident and migratory species of wild animals in the outer countryside and where feasible and appropriate, restore those habitats of the species which are of importance in removing the species from danger of extinction in partnership with the owners, communities or custodian agencies by-- (a) preventing, removing, compensating for or minimizing, as appropriate, the adverse effects of activities or obstacles that seriously impede or prevent the migration of the species of wild animals; (b) identifying the sites, creating awareness, and motivating and encouraging the owners, communities or custodian agencies, as the case may be; (c) building capacities; and (d) providing them economic incentives.
