BALOCHISTAN POPULATION WELFARE DEPARTMENT (NON-TECHNICAL) (BASIC PAY SCALE 16 AND ABOVE) SERVICE RULES, 1993 BALOCHISTAN POPULATION WELFARE DEPARTMENT (NON-TECHNICAL) (BASIC PAY SCALE 16 AND ABOVE) SERVICE RULES, 1993 (Amendments in the Appendix) [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 1st August, 2012] No.S.O (R-II)(19)4/2012-S&GAD/1349-98, dated 1-8-2012.---In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Balochistan Civil Servants Act, 1974 (Act No.IX of 1974), the Government of Balochistan is pleased to make the following amendments in the Balochistan Population Welfare Department (Non-Technical) (Basic Pay Scale 16 and Above) Service Rules, 1993, namely:-- In the aforesaid rules, in appendix,-- (1) against serial Nos.3 and 4 respectively, in column 4, for the existing entries the following shall be substituted:-- "(a) 20% by initial recruitment; and (b) 80% by promotion from amongst the members of the Service holding the post of Assistant Director (B-17)/District Population Welfare Officer (Low Density) (B-17)/Tehsil Population Welfare Officer (B-17)/ Deputy District Population Welfare Officer (B-17)/Accounts Officer (B-17) having at least five years service as such, on seniority cum fitness basis."; "(2) at serial No.5, for the existing entries the following shall be substituted:-- 5. District Population Welfare Officer (Low Density) (B-17)/ Tehsil Population Welfare Officer (B-17)/ Deputy District Population Welfare Officer (B-17)/ Assistant Director (B-17). Master Degree (2nd Division from a recognized University. Provided that the degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Demo-graphy, Statistics, Mathematics, Public Administration/ Business Adminis-tration/ Commerce, Economics or Social Science shall be preferred. (a) 75% by initial recruitment; and (b) 25% by promotion from amongst the members of the Service holding the post of Research Supervisor/ Statistical Investigator/ Monitoring and Evolution Officer/ Assistant District Population Welfare Officer/ Accountant/ Superintendent (B-16), having at least three years Service as such, on seniority cum fitness basis."; and (3) The entries at S.Nos.6 and 7 shall be omitted.
