[Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 7th February, 2014] CHAPTER II ESTABLISHMENT OF FOOD AUTHORITY 12. Food Safety Officer.---(1) The Food Authority may, by notification, appoint Food Safety Officers for such areas as it may assign to them. (2) A Food Safety Officer shall possess such qualifications as may be prescribed. (3) Notwithstanding anything hereinabove subsection (2), the Food Authority, in public interest, may confer the powers of a Food Safety Officer on a Government servant.
