[Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 7th February, 2014] CHAPTER IV OFFENCES AND PENALIES 24. Unsafe food.---A food operator, who manufactures for sale, stores, sells, distributes, imports or exports any unsafe food, shall be liable-- (a) where the un-safe food does not result in injury to any person, to imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years and fine which may extend to two million rupees; (b) where such unsafe food results in injury to any person, to imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years and fine which may extend to two million rupees; or (c) Where such unsafe food results in death of a person, to imprisonment for a term which may extend to imprisonment for life and fine which shall not be less than two million rupees.
